FINRA (formerly NASD) - Series 7: Training for the Series 7 Examination

The Examination for Series 7 License qualifies a candidate to sell all securities products, including corporate securities, municipal securities, options, direct participation programs, investment company products, and variable contracts.

When taking the Series 7 examination plan to spend 6 hours at the testing center. The Series 7 exam is broken in to two 3 - hour segments of 125 questions each with a one hour break between segments. Both segments cover all subject areas from your Series 7 training material in a randomized manner. You will not have an opportunity to review your first 3 – hour segment after returning for the second half of the Series 7 exam.

Series 7 Requirements

• No Prerequisite
• 70% or better passing score on the exam
• Some states require sponsorship (U-4 or U-10)
• Finger printing is required (through your local police department)
